--Jesus in particular referred to a composite sign in Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13! Why composite is because there would be several features to it, similar to the features of a neon sign!

(Matthew 24:3) “3 While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?””

--SO THEN, the "sign" would signify his invisible presence(parousia) and the "end of times."

--Also, I am including Pauls presentation on the matter:

(2 Timothy 3:1-5) “3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.”

--AS FOR WHEN if your question includes that concern we as Jehovah's Witnesses believe that such a fulfillment of Jesus words took place in 1914 of our time!

--Without enumerating on the specifics such as nation against nation , earthquakes, pestilence etc. , I will just provide a few quotes as to how authoriities viewed what took place in 1914:

An evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign. His kingdom comes without observation. Through His word He is showing His saints exactly what is about to take place. Deep deep studies from His Rivers of Living Water. We are in the last hour, the third overturning, the third day, the third year on the Lord's calendar. Do you have His calendar? He says in His word He appointed the moon for seasons and the Gregorian, Rabbinic, and Babylon calendar run on the sun cycle. His Passover was on March 10th. His people walk in His season. The abomination of desolation has been set up, the barley harvest is complete and the doors of the threshing floor are about to open. Does anybody really know what time it is? Yes, the Bride knows, the five wise virgins know. We are in the "little while." The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor, it is time to thresh her. It is Harvest time and He is going to judge the church first. The church is sleeping, it has no eyes to see or ears to hear. They are the Multitude and I pray the mercy of the Lord upon them.

Hi, there seems to be many such signs in the Gospels but the great sign is `Apostasy`in the faith, we already see that the Christian Gospel is raged against and ignored by the greater part of Humanity in favor of new age religions and Christ is relegated to being just another good man and not the Son of God.
However the apostasy will happen in Christianity it`self and we can already see the beginnings of this, many have lost or are losing the faith and are turning to all sorts of weird and wonderful notions other than what the Gospels say,people are almost embarrassed to say that they are religious these days and all the Christian denominations are experiencing severe falls in numbers of the faithful.

There are records of the Romans claiming the End Times (tm) were around 600 BC. It's unlikely that that was the first prediction of doom, and it certainly wasn't the last.

The end of the world or earth will be done by God because of sins of man on earth.

What man intend to do and are doing are all against God. Like no belief in God no belief on his teachings and everything a bout God,no belief. Men are doing what they wanted to do without considering the commandments of God, his orders or laws are disobeyed and everything which are acts against God's wish and desire for us. He is no longer Happy of what man is doing, so to punish those sinners, he will end the world.

He will get the non sinners to heaven and will bring the sinners to hell for punishment forever.
