Why do you love someone, for looks or inner beauty?

Whenever you find love, any love, you are getting closer to God. Divine love is the final target, but it is a tall order for most people. So love on a smaller scale is how we get to understand the ultimate in love. The love you start with could be the love you have for fine poetry, or good cooking, or your spouse; it does not matter as any one will do.

How shallow it would be to love someone on looks alone, we should love the totality of a person as this makes everyone so unique and special, we love too the gifted-ness in another person and love means that we see a different facet to the one we love each day.

Well, I usually see this person before anything else. But their physically attractive qualities become less important as I get to understand who they are. I find from personal experience that a people because more physically attractive to me as I see more positive aspects of their personality, and visa versa.
