Nope...who is to say that we are just the test subjects to the others in other universes who look upon us and learn from the mistakes we make.

If they find advanced life on another planet then that just means that God's hand has reached even further out into the heavens,
It would mean that there is just one more religion to add to the many.
Jesus was sent to "Mankind " for our salvation, what God the Creator chooses to do with other planets may be a whole different ball game .
still on the lighter side it would not take much to be smarter than some humans.

I doubt it. The religion meme has defence mechanisms built in to keep itself alive. It changes only when it has to, but when it's threatened by some new piece of undeniable truth, it adapts to it - however reluctantly.
Look at the way the Church responded to previous profound revelations like the spherical Earth or heliocentric solar system: to begin with they tried to kill and torture anyone who mentioned it - because it was so counter to the doctrine they'd been teaching previously about Earth - God's one habitable creation - being a disc 'hung upon nothing' at the centre of the universe, about which everything else revolved. Nowadays, religions have shoehorned all these facts into their belief systems, and no-one bats an eye when you bring them up. Hell, they even officially pardoned Galileo and Copernicus. Recently.
If intelligent life is found orbiting Alpha Centauri, you can bet your life the god-botherers will soon be saying "Oh, well, when it says God 'created Heaven and Earth', it obviously means that there were other planets in the 'heavens', see? Or 'Earth' means *all* the earth - including the 'earth' on A. Centauri, see" etc. etc. ad nauseam.

I wouldn't think meeting aliens would end religion. Most people who believe in God believe he is the creator of the Universe. That we meet some of God's other creatures should not shake people's faith, even if they are aggressive.
Having said that, I would be endlessly curious of their metaphysical beliefs. Maybe they will be able to prove God's existence beyond a shadow of a doubt. You did say they were advanced, no?

Probably not John, personally I do not believe in aliens myself and I see no good reason other than speculation that they indeed exist.
To go along with your question though,I think that if there were other life out there it would be much more advanced and intelligent than us and would have a greater understanding of the Creator as well, perhaps they would be amazed at how casually we humans treat God and take Him for granted, they would maybe have a better awareness and reverence for Him.

Nah, the theistic ones would simply state that their Gods created these aliens, even if the aliens refute the fact. They would just go on and say that they are just ignorant and lost their beliefs. The non-theistic ones like taoism and buddhism won't even be bothered by the fact that there are alien life forms. However, religions would evolve to accept the greater knowledge to adapt the given situations

...absolutely not... God Created the Universe and the Worlds... just because "we" are in a small corner of the Galaxy "Milky Way" doesn't mean that God doesn't have a flourishing civilization on Galaxy Delta 9 out there in the Borg quadrant... It so much bigger then our "finite" brains can even comprehend... By the way... "Religion"....??? that has noting to do with God... (what religion is He anyway...? umm)

In Sura 42,Verse 29 (42:29) of the Quran,we are told
"Among His (God's) signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them :and He has power to gather them together when He wills."
So to answer your question, no.

Religion is what a particular social group thinks is worthy of worship to express its values.
Great social changes lead to other religions -- the question is What religions are truly damaging.
