If you want, go to my website at istillcarepackages.com.
You can write thank you letters and then I send them overseas with outgoing packages.
Otherwise, if you have a specific recipient...
YES, it will only take one stamp. You aren't paying for it to go all the way to Iraq. The stamp carries it to APO address, where it is routed with the military mail and flown overseas. You are only paying for the America portion of the trip.

Send it as if you are sending it to your Aunt 10 Miles Away!
What happens to the letter/parcel is it is received at a Military base Post Office on the East Coast or West Coast and then transported over to Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, ext.... via military Postal Service. The address is a Zip code made up for the Military to let them know it needs to be handled by them and sorted properly.
So...Yes one stamp is fine!!
Good luck, god bless, and may the person(s) there on the other end of the letter return home safely.

Yes. You just need one stamp. The soldier on the other hand does NOT need a stamp to mail you or anyone else a letter as long as they are in "theatre"...(meaning, in the field)

Just one stamp. You can also try www.motomail.us. Sign up for an account and enter in the person's address you are writing to. You can type out letters there, they will get printed up and delivered to him within 24-48 hours. My husband usually gets his the next day. It takes him about a week to get a letter to me, but usually we just email or chat on IM.
