Yes. Actually the powerbar will burn rather quick since it is a simple sugar and your body will turn it into energy. You can also eat a slice or two of bread, but I would recommend 1 slice with a little peanut butter. It's another great energy source. You can pretty much eat a small meal and still run 2 hours later.

Sure, but the powerbar won't do you much good that far before the run. you're supposed to eat it 30-45 minutes before activity.

It's better if you eat the Power Bar within 30 minutes of your start time. Eat a small meal about 2 hours before your run. Drink plenty of water with the Power Bar and any meal before a race or a run.

After two hours, it should be okay. the effects of the powerbar might not be as strong, but it's do-able =)
