There is two ways to do it. Ask the U.S. embassy about both ways. One is to join up as a U.S. soldier and the other way is to go through the Filipino airforce as a foriegn exchange soldier. I've heard of British pilots in the U.S. airforce and a former co-worker was an exchange soldier for the Canadians.

You should be able to enlist in the Air Force even without being a citizen, as long as you are legally in the United States.

You should speak to a recruiter. They'll be happy to tell you what you need to do. If you have no criminal record you should have no problem.

Don't plan on zipping right into the Personel Reliability Program with clearance to play with nukes, but head for the recruiter and I don't think you'll have much trouble.

you probably can't. There are special circumstances at which it's possible though. For example, in Iraq, there were many foreigners that were offered green card/citizenship in exchange for service in Iraq.
But I wouldn't recommend that. No residency is worth the risk, unless you're looking for it in the first place.

i don't know if it is the same in America than it is in Britain but they say if you live in the country for 5 years or something you are a British citizen.
my friends dad who came from Spain joined the army and they have been living in our country for about 10 years now.

Talk to a recruiter, you can join no problem. While serving its allot easier and faster to apply and get citizenship.

If you are in the Phillipines, check with the US embassy. If you are in the U.S. go see a recruiter. Good luck.

They will take you. See a recruiter.

Many undocumented Americans sign up and get their citizenship this way.

Good Luck.

Good for you... cause the Philippine air force is pathetic and uses ancient planes. Dunno about that question though
