Some of you (not all, not generalizing) say that we, muslims, do not condemn terrorism. I say you are wrong, we do speak up, but we're not heard. I am on a mission to show as many people as I possibly can, God willing, that we want to live in peace and raise our families just as anybody else. Look at your neighbors, the muslim ones. You will notice they do not cause trouble and do live in peace, most anyway. I mean, my Christian neighbor and I literally bake cookies and rice pudding for each other just because. There is nothing wrong with that at all. Please see us as people as you are, there is a war going on and since we are the opposing side, all you will see is negativity. I strongly condemn terrorism and WILL NOT support it.

You go Girl...am with you and so are the rest of the muslims as ONE nation behind you!! HEAR IT OUT People...WE CONDEMN TERRORISIM was it loud enough..INFACT,,ISLAM CONDEMNS IT,THATS WHY WE CONDEMN IT.

For the guy VLR,who posted this''..You continue to miss the point with your constant and very tiresome Muslim apologetics. It doesn't matter if you condemn terrorism. You ascribe to a religion that endorses certain beliefs, and those beliefs have given rise to terrorism in the name of that religion. Your religion is the problem, do you not understand that? '' DUDE!!...let me be the first one to tell YOU..YOU and people like YOU who dont know JACK about islam are the biggest problem terrorrisim faces..infact its people like you who encourage it by finger pointing to the religion..so stop your nonsense..!! and get a life..its very tiresome to convince fools who lacks knowledge and yaps away as if they know everything..Try researching before you try an answer a question next time....

I am angered by his answer here we are, condemning terrorrisim...he thinks he knows more about My religion..when he doenst know anything to start with people like him bring bad name to people who are trying to act against terrorisim..i wonder which "religion" he believes in.....peace!

Unfortunately the media in America and I am assuming the rest of the the world has put such a heavy emphasis on the link between the Muslim community and terrorism that you request is going to fall mostly on deaf ears. People fear the images of violence that are shoved into their faces every day. As someone who knows and is friends with several Muslims I can say you are absolutely correct. But for the time being nothing will change... It is much the same as the U.S. throwing Japanese-American into interment camps during WWII.... some are bad.. so they must all be. I wish you luck, and be strong and practice what you believe.

No one person can truly speak for a group of people. A group of people, even if they share common cause in soemthing, are essentially doing so for individual reasons.

Thus, any one person picks and chooses the actions of another for reasons of their own. Because to do so, essentially, means that one is speaking alone, people hide behind 'groups' in order to make their opinion seem more valid and 'true'.

A butterknife can be used to spread butter over a muffin that is given to someone starving in the street or it can be used to stab someone in the neck to prevent them from calling the police on you. One action does not prevent the other from happening, except in the mind of the person to whom receives it.

There are Christians who hate Muslims, and there are Christians who love Muslims. There are Muslims who condone terrorism, and there are Muslims who condemn it. What is shadow and what is light is less a group perception than an individual one.

You go girl!
Terrorism is hateful and not only does Muslims condemn it but Allah as well.

Down to terrorism!

Edit:
I hate it when people say we are not doing enough.
All the Muslims in the world could condemn terrorism and still you would hear, "You are not doing ENOUGH!"
Don't worry about that. All actions towards combating terrorism COUNT even the smallest act.

The media ignores all pacifists or those who give out a peaceful message. That includes muslims who speak out against terrorism.

Anyone who kills as a terrorist completely abandons the true tenets of their faith, whatever it might be. This is well known amongst moderate Muslims. It is known amongst anyone who is a believer in their religion.

CONFESSIONS of A BRITISH SPY
This should be mandatory Muslim reading in school. This is history, not someone's ramblings. This is not a hoax.

Think about THIS folks. Then begin to think outside the box and see who is the real enemy here.

"World War III is to be fomented, using the so-called controversies; by the agents of the Illuminati operating under whatever new name; that are now being stored up between the political Zionists and the leaders of the Moslem world.

That war is to be directed in such a manner that all of Islam and political Zionism (Israelis) will destroy each other while at the same time; the remaining nations, once more divided on this issue, will be forced to fight themselves into a state of complete exhaustion; physically, mentally, spiritually, and economically.

"Now can any thinking person doubt that the intrigue now going on in the near Middle and Far-East is designed to accomplish that satanic objective? Pike himself foretold all this in a statement he made to Mazzini on August 15, 1871.

Pike stated that after World War III is ended; those who will aspire to undisputed world-domination will provoke the greatest social-cataclysm the world has ever known. Quoting his own words taken from the letter he wrote to Mazzini and which letter is now catalogued in the British Museum in London, England; he said:

"We shall unleash the nihilists and the atheists and we shall provoke a great social-cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to all nations the effect of absolute-atheism; the origins of savagery and of most bloody turmoil.

Then everywhere, the people will be forced to defend themselves against the world-minority of the world-revolutionaries and will exterminate those destroyers of civilization and the multitudes disillusioned with Christianity whose spirits will be from that moment without direction and leadership and anxious for an ideal, but without knowledge where to send its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal-manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer brought finally out into public view. "

Anyone who doubts the satanic cabal of the American government need only read this, the ultimate masonic Iluminati Zionist goal. Acceptance and adoration of their Shaytaan. A religious savagery will result from a general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and Atheism; both conquered and exterminated at the same time."

The enemy thinks outside the box, folks. We have to see beyond their wiles and outthink them. Time is almost out.

Most Muslims condemn terrorism. However, it suits the media and politicians to portray them as not doing so to get the Redneck vote.

well, what do you know, newspapers showing islam in a bad light makes more profit than the one who does the opposite..then we've the movies to thank for, for displaying arabs and muslims as terrorists etc..i can't blame people for believing them, because naturally, almost everybody trusts the newspaper but can't listen when we shout it into both their ears.Go figure!

I don't really bother learning about the muslims. I don't think good or bad of them. I do think they're healthier than us, living in a hot climate, fasting, eating more healthily, and they look pretty healthy. I think this is a great factor to keep in touch with reality.
I wish I had been brought up that way, with a similar lifestyle. If I met one he'd think I'm a stupid consumer. He'd probably knock me out if got to talking.
I loathe myself.
