Of course not - he would be put in a nut house. Even the Pope would declare him mad and institutionalise him/her.
Some people want to believe in it - but if it happened - it would be a different story.
Would you believe it - imagine if a friend told you that God or a Messiah spoke to them! What would your reaction be?
I would probably laugh - until I saw they were being serious - and then worry!

I don`t think people would take Him seriously and would kill Him.
Just these days there was a big scandal, here where I live, which is Romania,, in which was involved a woman who thought her 12-year old was Jesus Christ and that she was Mary.
The boy was taken away by the authorities and enjoyed playing a computer game and playing with other children his age, but was still very repectfull when it came to his mother(of chourse, he had seen only her for 12 years).
Anyway, the funny part was that the mother was blond unnaturally of chourse, and smoked.
Anyway. We could take all these magicians as the Messiah if we would want.
Therefore, I can conclude that the Christain religion is perfect, and everything happend where and when it was supposed to happen. Too bad it has been modified a lot during the centuries.

Most of us probably wouldn't and I include myself in that even though I am a Christian (born again - there aint no other type, Baby).
The masses didn't take him seriously then and we wouldn't today. With the mass information technology we have today, we'd have had our fill of false Messiahs.
However, that's if He was coming for the first time in the modern setting. When He returns, the Bible says we'll all see him (BBC24 have camera crews just about everywhere these days) and we'll be left in no doubt just who He is.
No-one knows when the Comeback to end all comebacks is scheduled and whether He flies in on a comet or surfs a solar flare, I have no idea but it will be spectacular and surrounded by trumpets and fireworks and such like and the world will never be the same again.

Those who believe the strongest in the goodness of a person will be converted simply by hearing of them.
Those who want to believe in the 'goodness' of a person, but have a hard time, will be convinced after they have shown how good they really are.
And those who are so full of despair that they cannot even begin to entertain anyone being good at all, will not be convinced even if the person came into their living room and granted every wish they ever wanted.
Human beings have not changed one iota since being 'formed'. So a messiah today would be greeted in the exact same way as a messiah at any time; only the methods would differ.

Good question. I think he would either
a) Be sent to anasylem as a mad man or for tests of magical powers or illusions as today we seem to be incredably closed minded towards anything we cant explain with simple science.
b) Be seen as a cult leader and have no influence.
Today it seems someone like Jesus would be dismissed instantly which is a shame really, and a sign of how narrow minded we have become.

If Jesus appeared on the campus of Liberty University or Bob Jones University, he'd be quickly escorted off campus for looking Jewish and having long hair. His policy of supporting the poor and condemning the rich would earn him a lot of enemies in the Republican Party. Pat Robertson would probably condemn him to Hell for his habit of hanging out with prostitutes and junkies. 'Nuff said...

To answer one of your 10 questions here goes....
Jesus Christ lived 2000 yrs ago. I have never( nor has anyone else walking today) seen Him face to face.
But by a faith based on FACTUAL EVIDENCE, not BLIND faith as some suggest, I believe in HIm with 100% of all my being.
But be cautioned, because the next time He steps foot on earth, He will BE politics. He will rule the millenium for 1000 yrs (millenium) with HIS theocracy and PERFECT rule over everyone.

If he came today, we wouldnt crucify him, but he would either be assasinated, or charged with some crime.
he would be branded a heretic, and only a handful of people would follow him.
Christaians would be alerted to the possibility of this man being the antichrist.

Curiously, it would seem people are not yet in need of the 'messianic dreams' in their lives; they're still hung-up on the '...go forth and multiply' bit. All too eager to produce babies and still totally blind of the repercussions of over population - from which they'd need a saviour.

Not many took the last one seriously, so why should the next be any different? I mean, look at David Ike, presenting BBC Grandstand one minute and son of god the next LOL.
