One way we show honour to others is by respecting them. The same chapter of Romans also tells us to consider that others are 'greater' than us.
So we would not consider 'ourselves' more righteous, more worthy, more important, of higher position, or harder working in the things of the lord.
We would see the best in our brothers and make every attempt to put their needs before our own convenience. They are 'valued' whether weak or strong, rich or poor, pink or blue, fat or skinny, etc. They are important, and worthy of our high regard for them.

How would you treat a member of your own family? How would you respond to them in times of stress, in times of need, in times of doubt? If one says they are your 'brother', how do you receive them?
As a brother receives his own with joy, with a willingness to sustain and comfort and succor them from an ever-abiding and overflowing wellspring of love, so should the same be extended to those whom you call 'brother'. Rejoice when they are happy, suffer with them when they are sad.
In other words, do that which shows how much you honour your brother for they are worthy of such.

As Christians we Honor people because they have been created in God's image, because they are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and because they have a unique contribution to make to Christ's church. We are to love them unselfishly by making sacrifices for them.
