Say "God loves you and I love you" and smile to whatever they say. Will really drive them nuts.

I believe the pleasure would be towards pointing out what they view as inconsistancies and finding those who have faith in a lack of inconsistancies flounder for answers. I don't think anybody honestly takes pleasure in other's anger here, as that's pointless, but if one desires real answers, and they see the only answers they are offered as ridiculous, they will make their questions progressively more ridiculous until an answer that they see as sensible after all of the silliness is filtered out is granted...
This is at least how I see these things people do... But I'm still stumped on a few, this particular question happens to be one of them really, are you looking for acceptance/agreement that people should ignore these, or are you just trying to make a statement? If you're looking for agreement, would it be any less of a good idea if everyone of your faith disagreed with you?...

Since when do people of 'faith' become bothered by smart alec questions?
If they are making people of faith angry, perhaps it is because the people of faith have so little of it.

This is precisely the point, people of faith ignore questions that are difficult to answer. There is no good argument for faith, it defies all logic and reasoning. When I ask people of faith questions regarding their belief it oft times comes across as 'smart alec' because it is hard to comprehend their circular and let's face it, absurd answers to straightforward questions. logic prevails where fantasy fails.

sometime I like to kid around with some of my answers, the smarty questions really don't bother me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion even if they differ from mine.
but if I can make a funny...watch out

They are trolling. But sometimes it is fun to play with the trolls. Problem is after awhile I can't answer a real question without a smart *** reply.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that the problem you have with those questions isn't the 'aleck' but rather the 'smart'.
