It's usually because the guy doesn't mind. Usually they're just so happy to be together with the girl that as long as she's with them they're happy. They tend to notice these things after breakups though, especially divorces. Then comes the whole going to court and fighting over property and whatever else. Plus it's not like women never buy things for their bfs/husbands so its not really that bad.

The general rules for dating are just outdated. They are the old 20th century rules. As we are now in the 21st century, they need to be rewriten.
And at the top of the list is a date should be 50/50.

Well, the first dates the guy should do it, I mean, if you can't pay then why the hell invite her out in the first place?
After a while, when things are more comfortable, the girl should invite also, or at least pitch in. It all depends on the kinda girl you wanna hang out with; the girls I've been in with have been real cool in that aspect.
Avoid gold-diggers and skanks. They will suck your wallet dry.

History! Since forever the man gives gifts to the woman. it's a macho thing :)
in the occidental world, more and MORE women pay their things.
But for sure on the first date, guys pay the resto bill.
If you go to the other part of the world, and you don't pay the bill on your own, it means you are poor! they will find it shoking!

I think if you are trying to spend money on her to get her in bed, you are the one who is using, not being used. Girls are worth more than the price of dinner, have some respect

I don't believe in that. I believe that a man's money belongs to him, and a woman's money belongs to her, end of story. That's why I would never let a man pay for anything of mine. Not even dinner.

You asked? You should pay. She asks? She should pay. It's called chivalry, it's not expected of men, it's just a bonus. Being a gentleman will get you further in life than being a money-minded prick.

You are dating the wrong type of women, make sure you tell them that you can,t afford to pay all the time,if they are genuine they will stick by you,if they are after your money, they will go away, try it and see what happens.

thats not true. some girls don't like it when their bfs spend money on them and there are also a lot of guys out there that don't pay for nothing and the girl pays for everything.
