In short, yes. It is not so much a case of the disease worsening as a lessening of the ability to cope with it.
Most things get worse as you age, muscles weaken, nerves don't function as well and things get harder, you get more tired more easily. Things heal more slowly. Ask anyone with arthritis or an old injury, they hurt more as you get older.
So it is a natural part of aging, made worse by the pre-existing condition.
But like everyone, you have to do the best with what you've got, so good luck.

Assuming we are not dealing with a progressive form of cerebral Palsy, it does not get worse but you can get pneumonia, spasms become worse, usually the person expires from an infection.
