mike for starters, tear gas is an irritant to the eyes, blinding disability, probably not otherwise it would be illegal to use it since the quantity one is exposed to varies in places where it is used. Other than that it is a chemical that is irritant to the throat, at least it was to me! (only once in life) anyways bottome line, if it had any disabling effects, it would not be used by the law enforcement agencies. More than that, depends on how much you expose one to, under how much pressure etc, good luck
