Broome is a town - not much there, but very pretty. The sunsets are spectacular and the beaches are lovely.

quite a small town,a long way if you want to visit,they have an 80 mile beach,camels,aboriginals,most of the worlds best pearls come from broome,also has a large cemetry dedicated to the japanese pearl divers

By European standards, its a small town. Hot and humid in Summer, just hottish and drier in Winter. Nice place to stop on the way to somewhere more interesting.

It must be a town, it has a hospital and more than one pub. That makes it bigger than a village - but not much.
