i'm in middle school...
ok so when adults say that kids can't love another with all of their heart, they don't know what they're talking about. i may sound neive, but it's only the truth, accept it or dont. love is not defined by age. it is not defined by the wrinkles under your eyes or by the amount of tears you have cried. you see, that's it. love is undefined. it's measured in the time it takes to blink once, it's measured in the way that he looks at you, and the way he always says 'i love you' to make things better.
if you're in love, you're in love. it could be a little or a lot. no one can tell me that i'm too young to be in love because i am. can't someone mean everything to you at this age??
if you agree with what i'm saying then answer...
or maybe i'm just a little kid that doesn't know what she's talking about.......

Sure, kids can be in love. I was when I was a kid. But now that I'm grown, I know that it was certainly not the same kind of love. I know when you are a teenager, you think adults don't understand. But, we were teenagers once. You never forget your first love (well, any love for that matter). In my early twenties, I got the chance to date my first love again and the love certainly was not there like I thought it would be. To be honest, puppy love is so sweet and pure, and I think we are just jealous of you teenagers. All the love without the complications and responsibilities.
Now that I said that--I wouldn't trade the love I have now, with my man, for the puppy love of teenagers. I can't explain it, but you will agree someday.

Problem is, that love can lead to things you don't want to happen when you are young. A guy might say that he loves you just to get something from you. Many teen pregnancies happen because teens "think" they are in love, but end up getting hurt in the future.
So yes, there is a point in life where love is something that isn't just a physical feeling, and you will tell when a person truly loves you back and wants to spend a lifetime with you.
Love has different feelings and can hurt if you aren't careful. My advice, don't rush into love until you are old enough to deal with things that may happen.

Kid or adult I think everyone is confused about love. I agree you can't define it or stipulate when or how old you have to be to fall in love. Love is mysterious, scary, amazing and all I can say is that if you experience it you are lucky : ) Just be careful if you are young...or at any age for that matter..people can hurt you and you have to be careful!

try this one... your parents are in love with you, can you REALLy grasp the extent of that compared to a cute boy in science class? hhaha! i thought i was in love in middle school too. i mean i was, but its not the same i hate to tell you......... enjoy it while you can, but dont get all head over heels and lose yourself in a relationship wich sounds like you might be doing............... love is a powerful thing. ask your parents about love and the first time they ever laid eyes on you..... that is real. enjoy!

You can even be more in love at that age. One difference though is that an adult might be better at handling it. Widows for example tend to be especially good at relationships.

ya know, your parents were kids once too (as dumb as that sounds). I'm 17 and I'm just starting to figure out that pretty much everything my dad tells me about human nature is true.
