My fixed male cat likes to stand on the tiger and flex his paws into the back of the stuffed cat almost like he wants to breed it. Then he turns into circles and lays down and sleeps for hours on this stuffed tiger... my cat is completely nuts!!! This is a weird behavior that I have never saw before. It's funny to watch him.

Who knows why they love particular items. My cat loves a red blanket that she sleeps on almost exclusively. To answer your question, there isn't an answer. Why do you sleep the way you do? It's just personal preference.

I have a cat that when I take her blanket out of the cage She is one of three 3 month old kitten I am trying to find a home for) to give her a clean one she makes a crying call after it. When I put the clean one down she rolls all over it pulls it up between her front paw and places her head on it and sleeps on it that way, I have seen her smack her sisters when they try to put it in the litter box. Cats have strange behaviors which no one can explain. Tell me why does my 11 year old 23lb Rag Doll suck his tail like he's nursing when he is on my lap or on the bed? I have one who sleeps in the litter box, one who will spend all day playing fetch if you let her (never taught her this we rescued her she was abandoned at 6 month old with her sister in an apartment for two weeks).

My friend has a dog that humps a big stuffed animal. It's the same as stress ball for humans.

You should video tape it. Sounds like a great kitty movie.

They just get attached to things sometimes-maybe the smell or feel to his paws. My old kitty used to love to sleep on my Birkenstocks! Sounds really cute.

It may be comfortable to your cat. Your cat has probably marked it as its territory also and that's why it spends alot of time with it.

Maybe it's ergonomically correct for your cat.
