1. There is territorial dispute between the two neighbours
2. India is the only country that supports Tibet clandestinely and there are 10 million Tibetans in India.
3. Both neighbours did go to war in 1962 with heavy losses from India side.
4. China's support of Pakistan is a cause of concern to India - similarly, India sides with the West on issues of bringing democracy in China.
5. Both countries are growing economies with greater hunger for Oil and Gas reserves in Iran, Caspian Sea basin.
6. Both are also economic competitors.
7. There is also strong cultural differences.

This world is already overloading with this war thing !I don't support war at all........but if just supposing it.........Soo........I m a Pakistani...so you knwo the answer !!

But i would not feel good at all on the loss on both sides and i m sure there would not be any such war ever !! I wish !! situation is not that worse between the two... Present indian governament is the sensible one !!

India. The government is not totalitarianist. It is probably the most pluralistic civilization on the Earth.

China is still under the same the same war-lord bureaucracy that it has been under for centuries, and may revert unexpectedly at any time.

India makes movies. Red China just steals and copies everyone else's.

There's a little score that Red China needs to settle with some United Nations members regarding a little dung heap called North Korea, too.

Let us not be foolish to get finished by Nuclear War. Such question is result of pessimistic depression. President Bush is willing that Pakistani terrorists may be conquered by help of Indian military / India to support secular democracy in Pakistan. We should support people of Pakistan to be freed from fear-complex by enlightening truth of oneness of pious preaching by One in Quran & Bhagavad Gita.

India. As one observes the world history, India has never been an aggressor. If it is a military conflict, for sure, India would be fighting as a response to an attack.

Tell them to sit down and talk it out. Stop with this nonsense about going to war.
It's counter productive, costly and looks absolutely moronic from a historical point of view.

However, honestly, if they go to war, it would be probably be a good thing for America.
