That is an excellent question. I think it has to do with lack of self-confidence and self-esteem. If a woman is confident in herself, she has no need for games, head trips and other kinds of subterfuge.
Also, I think sometimes it is the way they were taught to communicate. That's how it was done at home, and they have yet to question it. Some people mature out of this habit, others never do.

The indirectness probably comes from not wanting to offend the guy. Lots of guys don't respect others' wishes. Just take a look at the police.

Actually, no. Guys are the ones who do all of the game playing. The say one thing, and do the complete opposite. They lead you on. When some of you get around your friends, you completely change into an entirely different person. Maybe you got caught up with a girl who was playing with your emotions, but you shouldn't say that all all girls are like that, because that's simply not true. You can't try to generalize all of us because of a piece of trash that you dealt with.

All girls do not play games, guys play games too. Also, we are indirect because we think that you know what we are saying.

girls are so confused esp. when it comes to love. just be sure you know what vibes your sending out. A lot of girls like to take things slow and don't like it when a guy is too direct. lots of guys are players and aren't serious so we have to play the game too by being indirect. im not saying your a player but just show your personality more and show that your serious. just don't rush things!!!

It is not necessary only girls play games.Boys do the same and may be more than girls.
It is basically the situation you are in.Lot depends on a individuals attitude and upbringing.
