Effexor - suicidal
Prozac - such a high dose I was catatonic 400mg 4times a day!!!
I forget the names of the others, I just packed them all in an self medicated, doesn't work for everyone, but it was better for me than that Effexor rubbish, I'd never felt so bad.

Pyridoxine and Isoniazid. I am a therapist and I was exposed to TB. I came up as a carrier so now I have to take those two medicines for the next 7-9 months so I don't develop full blown TB. One is the med for tb the other is because the first med can cause nerve damage so I have to take the second one for that. Plus these meds are making me nauseated in the morning so I take a med for the nausea. So every morning I am running aroung trying to lead group while throwing up in the bathroom. Sounds fun huh. They said this nausea can last a couple months. The gift that keeps on giving.

meds will affect people differently so it is hard to judge by what others feel from a drug. I was given bactrim when I was young for an infection. I ended up with hallucinations and a fever of 103, we found out quickly that I had an allergic reaction. Yet, others do fine with it.

Got put on Zoloft for depression and panic attacks. Wound up having the WORST ever "panic attack" from it and actually had a big heart rhythm problem from it. I ended up in the ER and the cardiologist who came in said to stop taking it b/c if you have these problems before, even if small, Zoloft can exacerbate it. So stopped taking it. Cut down on my drinking and smoking and haven't had as bad of an episode since.

I was prescribed Thorazine (the lowest dose at that) for anxiety and it had the opposite side effect on me. It made me extremely anxious and very angry but fortunately I only took it the one night and have got my meds straightened out now. After reading about it and learning more I never really should have been prescribed that anyway.......just my experience~
