Let me break it down. List your source( who or what news or Org. site you got your info from). Then list the the OVERALL scope of the problem. ( a general idea of how much it has affected, how it affects it, and how it affect us). When i said "it" I meant our enviornment and people. You MUST list your source or you get NO stars.

The easiest way to find out how bad the "pollution" is where you live is to access your state database for CERCLIS and NPL sites.

These are the sites that have had a recognized impact on the environment.

As I do not know where you live, I can not pinpoint your pollution. So, look here to find out what is in your area.

The best sources for the US are the federal databases given in the references. There will not be good world sites, because places like China and Africa do not have public data.
