It should be "bothers him". Either "lo molesta" or "le molesta" may be correct, according to region.

"The music bother him" is incorrect English, and should read "the music bothers him". In Spanish it would be
"Le molesta la música" or "A él le molesta la música" - the second form merely emphasises "him" and makes it clear that the music bothers him, rather than her or you.

In some parts of South America they would say: "Lo molesta la música".

If you meant it to be a question" Does the music bother him?" then the translation would be the same, but written with question marks.
"¿(A él) le molesta la música?
"¿Lo molesta la música?"

Some people are just narrow-minded like that. I only don't listen to a type of music if it puts down races/genders, etc. I find that in a lot of hip-hop, for some reason. Anyhow, I'm open to just about anything, as long as I enjoy it. Notes: I love AFI, and I am straight. I listen to Addison Road's stuff (Christian rock) and I am far from a choir boy. I'm a (for now) liberal independent, and do listen to Cash, as well as some other folksy stuff. I live in the sticks, and Basshunter's one of my favorite artists. I like a lot of punk stuff, yet whenever I try to listen to FOB or AA Rejects around my friends (neither are punk bands, mind you) I still get nasty looks. Why is that? Anyway, I agree--it's stupid to judge a band by its members, instead of its music.
