~No I don't, sorry. But, if you've never taken any before, try the little blue Wal-Mart brand sleeping pill. It works just fine for me.

I take Ambien and it works well but follow the directions and only take it when you have 7 or 8 hours to sleep. It can cause memory problems and poor judgment while it works, if you're asleep, so what?

Have you seen a doctor and he proscribed this for you or did you see a commercial on TV? You need a prescription for Ambien and it is a strong medicine. If you haven't seen a doctor and have never taken a sleeping pill before, the Wallmart suggestion would be the place to start.

The person who mentioned temazapine as a good sleeping med is wrong. It can be used for 2 weeks but it doesn't work well after that and it can be addicting.

Ambien has a window of 20 minutes after you take it to go to sleep or it may not work.
Any sleep aid should be used occasionally so I take xanax and it puts me out with no affects the next day.
Ambien seemed to make me feel groggy the next day

I take Ambien and have been for a long time now. I take 10mgs and I have to take 2mgs of Xanax (prescribed) with that in order for it to help me go to sleep. I know that it will only work if trying to go to sleep in the first half hour after taking it. I know many people that have had good results with it. Unfortunately, I have a high tolerance. I have also taken Lunesta and that seemed to work ok but did not work for as long. Hope this helped.~

Ambien works very well. My advice is to take it and go directly to bed. It works so well that you may do (and say) things you don't remember the next day.

I take Benadryl if I need to get to sleep. It works well for me.

Setting up a regular sleep schedule and getting some sort of physical exercise during the day helps with occasional insomnia, too.

Good luck.

Ambien is a great sleep aid, but I've found that over the counter Unisom works just as well. You can also go to the health food store and get a product called "Calms Forte" that will naturally help with sleep.

ambien is only good for 4 hours of sleep, lunesta is alot better and less sedating/hungover the next morning.
If you wanna go all natural go to a health food store and get an herb called valerian- dont smell it as it smells like musty tennis shoes but it is mother natures version of valium

yes ambien works well-you can get over the counter things that work well also----I suggest changing off and not sticking to the same one all the time-------benadryl works well and so does a natural herb known as melatonin that is widely available at a low price and can be found in the vitamin and supplement section.----sweet dreams

I use Ambien, it works great....VERY FAST! Only take on the way to bed, or it could be embarassing.

It is very addictive. It is also very short acting so you may notice withdrawal symptoms the next day like anxiety, depression, panic, brain fog etc. All tranquillisers and sleeping pills have addiction potential. A lot of people who take them notice they can't relax or sleep normally without them. See this http://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/
