Well, this a decision you must make on your own and stop long enough to think.
I have smoked weed and like President Clinton, did not inhale. :-p OK, well maybe once I inhaled. But, to tell you straight, it really a waste of time. I would rather Read and learn things than smoke dope and lay there looking around. Alcohol the same thing. Plus there so many things to spend my money for that have long term effects for my life. Heck, if I looked back on the money I spent on stupid things and had saved that money, it just hard to believe what I would have. It hard to save money as we want a here and now good time, but, it add up and the good time can come later and be so much more enjoyable. I have friends now that still smoke dope and drink, they look 10-20 years older than me. They still running around broke and a friend and me feed them when they straight enough to know they hungry. We sit with one friend we knew from 1st grade and watched him die. It not worth what you give up, believe me. I know it hard, but, I tell you straight and if you not listen, 10-20 years down the road.............. I promise you will look back to this question and say..... "I should have listened to that dude"!

No. Studies have shown that marijuana is not physically addicting. As long as your happy in your life and not drowning your sorrows in your bong, you are fine.
If marijuana is so bad then explain this: There is a prescription drug called Marinol. Marinol is prescribed by doctors to help people eat when they have nausea and vomiting from diseases like cancer or HIV. The active ingredient in Marinol is THC, the same stuff in marijuana that gets you high and gives you the munchies.
Don't do anything stupid when you're high, like drive, use a chainsaw or take care of children. Be responsible. Why marijuana is illegal and alcohol is not, I will never fully understand.
For the record, many people consume alcohol. Alcohol is proven to be physically addicting. Sudden withdrawal from consuming a lot of alcohol can cause seizures and even death. How many people that have responded negatively to your question drink alcohol? I bet plenty.

yes you should, these are some of the long term effects of weed, i dont think you want any of them
Respiratory system: Marijuana can be especially harmful to the lungs because users inhale the unfiltered smoke deeply and hold it in their lungs as long as possible. Marijuana smoke can cause the same breathing problems that tobacco users experience, including bronchitis and emphysema.
Cancer: Marijuana smoke contains more cancer-causing agents than is found in tobacco smoke. In fact, studies show that someone who smokes five joints per week may be taking in as many cancer-causing chemicals as someone who smokes a full pack of cigarettes every day.
Reproductive system: Heavy use of marijuana can affect male and female hormones, diminish or extinguish sexual pleasure, and cause a temporary loss in fertility. Among other symptoms, women may have irregular menstrual cycles, and young men may experience the delayed onset of puberty.
Immune System: Animal studies have found that THC can damage the cells and tissues that help guard against disease.

it's your choice
I did it summer before I went to college and I stopped 3 weeks before I left for school (no addiction in my case but I do have friends who are addicted). I know when I did it I would get lazy and I didn't want to get like that my first year of school because of all the work.
I'm not going to restart this summer cause I may be switching jobs and I just don't want to to effect getting a new one.
My old personal rule was if I did smoke...I couldn't pay for it
way 2 much of my friend waste money on buying weed.

Yes becaue you could become addicted like this one guy I knew that would do anything to get ahold of money to buy it, it's hard for you to get jobs if they give tou a drug test or a polygraph, and all you will care about is getting high. that guy was caught by the police and had to move in with his grandparents in Florida. He is 16 and is not allowed to get an education. He works at a themepark called ShipWreck Island.

YES! For 1 thing it is illegal!!! For the next thing it is bad for your health -- lungs and mental capacity. Marajuana is an important drug for terminally ill patients and people with glacoma (who are going blind). Other than that, as a "recreational drug' it can unravel the mental connections in the brain to the point that you literally cannot use your brain in cognitive ways. One side of the brain is no longer able to connect with the other!!! The other serious problem with it is that it is at least 100 times worse than tabacco in ruining your lungs -- giving you lung cancer and/or emphazema!!! A painful deadly disease!
Stop now. Obey the law -- it's there to protect you from the serious diseases!!! It there to protect you from yourself and to protect you for your family.
Smoking, using, and posessing it is AGAINST THE LAW !!!! rESPECT YOURSELF, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR COUNTRY AND STOP BREAKING THE LAW !!!!!!!!!!!!

I smoked weed for a few years. When I quit I discovered how much more money I had to spend on more productive pursuits.

nobody can tell you what to do, you have to make that decision for your self but i think you should stop. You will eventually become addicted to it because it is a drug and it also kills brain cells and is not good for your health.

I think you should stop. You will be able to think more clearly if you do. In addition, there is enough great stuff out there to make you happy without the use of chemicals.
