No where in the Bible does it say that gambling is evil, nor a sin. This is an conclusion that certain people have drawn from mis-interpretation.

Clever question.

The problem with gambling is that it's so addictive. Psychologists teach us that a habit is hardest to break when you get a variable reward after a variable length of time. Games of chance where everyone pays money, but very few win are thus very addictive.

Pascal's Wager doesn't have this characteristic so I wouldn't call it a sin.

If gambling is a sin,I'm a sinner,but it's not illegal and it's easy money,if you know how to hit and run and do so.Stone me,I love it.
