I have a denture that came out while I was trying to tighten it - in other words, I was messing w/ it when I probably shouldn't have been. I would go to the dentist to have it fixed but he really creeps me out and I was just there recently. My mom might get mad when she finds out. I want to glue it back in w/ some Krazy Glue or nail adhesive but I'm afraid it might poison me. So has anybody had experience w/ this type of thing? As you can tell, this is a very big problem and it is almost 2 a.m. where I am! thanks!

You can buy kits to repair dentures at any drug store. They aren't expensive. The problem is that they often don't fix the denture permanently, and the tooth falls out again, after a while.

What kind of denture is it? Was it glued in before or is it meant to be removable?

I would go see the dentist because dental appliances are too expensive to try to do it yourself!

NEATFREAK,

THE PROBLEM WITH THE USE OF LAY PERSON'S REPAIR IS THAT THIS HAS NO LONG TERM PERMANENT GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK.
SURE YOU CAN BUY THE SUPERGLUE OR DENTURE REPAIR PATCHING KITS, BUT THIS WOULD ONLY BE USEFUL UNTIL YOUR DENTIST CAN HAVE A DENTAL LAB PROPERLY REPAIR THE ITEM.
