Cindy, you said you just had a fight, he may still be stewing. Give him some time. The make up sex should be great. I know it's hard but try and be patient. It's sounds like your walking on egg shells already but you do have to try and fix it. He also needs to do his part although right now he's not thinking along those lines. It is something that is very important to a healthy relationship and he needs to keep you happy. If after a reasonable cooling down period he hasn't come around, I would seek counseling. Don't make any foolish decisions during this fragile time it will only make matters worse.

You should be asking your husband this question. He might be under a lot of stress and is too tired for sex (often happens in these stressful days). He might have some physical problem that he needs to get medical attention for if he hasn't already (prostate problems, blood pressure problems, etc.). He might not find the sex you've had "lately" exciting enough to repeat (he might be bored with it). He maybe have an outside interest. He may have some other reason. If none of these things apply, then maybe you both need to go to a therapist to figure out what's wrong.

I think a lot of guys simply stay in a loveless relationship in the hope that it is the best thing for their children. Of course, it could be argued that it is not the best thing to do... but each person has to make a decision based on their own personal circumstances. Many women seem to simply 'go off' the idea of sex. Don't know if it's true for men.

You don't say your ages, but it's reasonably normal for sex drive to fade out after a few years of marriage. To go away entirely is a bit unusual, but it is possible.

It could be partly medical or health-related. If you want sex and he doesn't, try seducing him, and most women should know how to do that.

You might also try discussing it with him. If he doesn't want to that should come out.

Sometimes life gets you so distracted, you forget about your mate. Remind him of how good it feels to spend time together.
