Definitive Technology all around. Fronts are BP7004s, center is a C/L/R/2002 and the surrounds are BP1.2X. Dont need a seperate sub since each 7004 tower has a 300 watt 10-inch subwoofer built in. The Fronts and surrounds are both bi-polar and i love that too. It really fills the room.

I will also say i've noticed a HUGE difference in the sound quality when i upgraded receivers recently as well. The Definitives always sounded great, but with more and cleaner power, better sound processing, and switching over to HDMI from RCA cables, i can actually tell a huge difference in the sound quality.

Anyway, i love the Definitives, but speakers are more of a personal preference type thing. The sound i like might not be what you like, but either way you shouldnt buy a speaker you havent listened to, so i would suggest doing that at the very least :)

Hi. I have a pair of Rogers Studio 1 Monitor loudspeakers. They were made in England in 1984.They are a 3 way bass reflex design. The drivers used are a 200mm bextrene bass/mid. cone. 1 Celestion HF 1300 tweeter. 1 modified KEF T27 super tweeter.1 bass reflex loaded port with tube insert resonator.
The nominal impedance is 8 ohms and sensitivity is 86.5db .
The frequency responce is : 45HZ to 20,000HZ +or- 2 DB.
The program power rating for speech and music is :300 Watts RMS.

I have not heard any speaker to date that i would rather have than the Rogers.I know i am biased but i am telling the truth .If there were a better sounding speaker i would not hesitate in buying it .But that has not yet happened.

As i explained in your other question about amps ,these speakers are all that i need to listen to .They give me the 3 dimensional sound stage with the Hologram Generator.

I am running Klipsch Reference series RF-62 fronts, RC-52 center, RS-42 surounds, and a RW-12d subwoofer. I have it setup as a 5.1 surround on a Dennon AVR-2807 receiver....I love it...neighbors don't!
