Maybe that thought you were donating other bodily fluids besides blood. Otherwise, I don't see their point. There is no scripture that I am aware of(I am a minister) that prohibits this.
In fact Paul says "everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial" To me this is both beneficial and permissible.
You might ask this person to back up their concern with scripture. I would be interested to hear their rationale.

Donating whatever you have to extend or save lives is a christan act. Jesus Christ himself offered His body & blood. It just so happens that you are being compensated with money. When we donate money after listening to a preacher, does that make the preacher a prostitute? What is your primary intention, is it not to help? It's not even wrong if you want to make money for as long as it does not destroy your life. Do not be bothered by some pseudo-christians who focus only on sins and avoidance of sins. They'll get nowhere by simply avoiding sins.Christianity is a continuous active journey toward God's Kingdom by grace and service We must not even avoid temptation but, rather, confront it , accept the challenge & say "no", and move on, give, give, and you'll always have something to give.

Think of it like this: You're doing them all a favor, especially if you send them twice a week, which is the limit at those places. Here's why: Each time they take a pint of plasma, they replace it with clean, fresh and sterile saline water! So, it's like you're giving your people a partial oil change twice a week. It's particularly good for them if they have a lot of toxins in their diet, or lots of fat and cholesterol. You can tell when they do because the plasma comes out looking like chicken gravy. (Not that I would ever accuse you of giving them real FOOD, mind you.)

What this person should realize is that they are going against the word of god. We as christians are not supposed to judge others, and let God do the judging. Tell that self righteoous ******, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." It sounds to me like you are doing a good thing to help people survive. So what if you get a little cheddar on the side.

They are a bit overly righteous. And should hope that they are never seriously burned. Or in some other way require a plasma transfusion.
Good for you buddy, I wish more people thought of doing it.

You must be a Jehovah's Witness. Ask your ignorant fellow church-goer where he, or his family, is going to get plasma in an emergency. I would like see him deny blood to his dying child to satisfy his silly beliefs.

Being that religion is all about personal opinion, what you should or shouldn't do is also all about personal opinion. Don't let some jackass tell you that you're doing wrong when you're helping so many people.
