I loved this girl and I thought she loved me but when her first boy friend came back and proposed she got married a two months after I got dumped? Is it possible for a girl to be owned in such a way by a guy who took her virginity? If yes I think that is pretty sad.

A girl will usually have a special place in her heart for the guy she gave her virginity to, unless he was a total douche about it later. Thinking of someone tenderly is *not* the same as continuing to be in love with them, though. I have fond memories of my first, but I know that if he showed up today and proposed, I would probably laugh in his face for being so foolish (of course, it's been 6 years since the last time I talked to him). So I don't think that your ex-girlfriend's actions necessarily have anything to do with the fact that she lost her virginity to this guy.

I'm sorry that she broke your heart. You don't give any details about the time frames (how long she was with him, how long ago they broke up, how long the two of you were together), but based on her actions, it looks like you might have been the rebound guy, and that sucks. In any case, as painful as it is right now, you're better off without her. She doesn't exactly sound stable. Good luck finding a woman with her head screwed on straight.

From personal experience, I was in love with my first for a while some months before i got over him, he was married and everything but i still wanted him because he was my first, I WAS SPRUNG, then i grew up, I had his child and it didnt take long to see that he didnt care for me or my baby, Well guess what that baby is 16 years old now and her daddy is still the same asshole he was back then he couldnt have me if it was up to us to repopulate the earth, Sadly yes it is true girls do have an attachment with their virginity but again it depends on the girl too........Im sorry this happened to you babes Good Luck in the future

After I lost my virginity, I kept the box it came it!

That's all. The guy who took it isn't the man of my dreams. Evidently, your gf was in love with this guy and was glad to have a second chance. I doubt it had to do with the virginity issue. He had a tow-chain attached to her heart and pulled her in with a warn-wench! Probably wore camoflauge. That's why you didn't see him coming!

It's hard letting go of your first time when you're a girl, you get paranoid that maybe you weren't good enough, or that maybe you had something that was so special you couldn't share with another guy because it was your first time and your first love will ALWAYS be the most memorable.

Well you know the old saying about first loves, I guess it works that way with whoever the first person is to POP the cherry...I think your better off without her though, she sounds to insecure.

It's not just girls, I bet every guy can remember the first girl they ever had sex with and if they run into her they feel weird wondering how she feels about them, now, multiply that by 10 and you know how women feel.
