Is laughing near-uncontrollably at trivial things a symptom of the maniac phase of bipolar disorder?

my ex-girlfriend years ago was bipolar and she would get like this when she was manic, especially cuz she wasnt like this usually. i remember distinctly one time when i literally expected her head to spin around! by itself this is not enough to make a person bipolar, but in someone who has been diagnosed with it already it may be a warning sign of an approaching manic episode. it was always a clue for me with her.

It can be, but if that is the only odd thing you see, it's most likely not bipolar disorder related.

Laughing uncontrollably at silly little things, can be the person is tired, or just in a silly mood, or that person may find that thing incredibly funny for a reason you do not understand.

Bipolar is far more serious, and complex than just laughing inappropriately.

no, that's just being in a silly mood.
Mania is much more intense and dangerous than that.
