Like acrylics with oils and temperas and enamels?

Well, with a little practice and some leftover paints, if it’s done just right it can look pretty cool! This is a closeup of a larger painting on canvas ( called ‘Pretty In Pink’) I finished yesterday using incompatible mixed media. Because the paints aren't compatible the blended pigments separate as the different paints start to dry. The effects come from the pigments rejecting each other.

Cool effects, huh?

Love it, really! I'd like to know more about what paints and where each was used. Could you call it a tempera tantrum?? ha ha.

Cool, but is it art or a chemistry experiment?
