For health reasons, they both have their faults. The artificial sweetener may not be too healthy and of course sugar is fattening.
But when it comes to taste, I *can* not drink anything but regular. Many years ago I came in after spending hours outside on a very hot day quite parched, and diet soda was the only thing in the fridge. Half an hour later I was still parched and had managed to choke down one tiny sip. I poured it down the sink and got water instead... couldn't drink it even when I was that thirsty.

It depends on what brand of diet soda I am drinking, as they do vary from can to fountain drinks. Enjoy and be Safe...(smiles)

I think it will give you alzheimer's disease. So I would never drink a diet soda of any kind.
