Do means like goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days
of my life.? It means grace. Something we get from God but
don't deserve it. Like giving us breath each moment.

re: confuscius
goodness is something you learn but have to relearn to keep. it is an ideal to adhere to and something for people to refer back to, it marks the boundaries beyond which you would not step in certain situ's.

everything which was brought into being by the light of divinity.
"and He saw that it was good."

Everything else is illusion... things which were never brought into being... things which are constructed by ignorance, and not by God.
