ok,
ive been enlisted in the navy over a year now, and well i kind of have the typical story of the recruiter telling me to just leave some stuff out about my past medical history.
i did however come in on numerous medical waivers, but for this one particular issue i did not. i went to medical, and well they sent me to a civilian doctor who i have not yet seen.
i have not disclosed this information to medical for the obvious fear of fraudulent enlistment. -
but, in the case of fraudulent enlistment - does anyone know what would happen - IE. restriction, pay and rate reduction?
just inquiring, so i know where to go from here.

If it is a non waveriable condition, you will be discharged and given a fruadulent enlistment RE Code.
If the condition is waveriable, you will probally end up in front of a Captians Mast.
I'd say, if you end up with either, you need to make sure that they know who your recruiter was.

It all depends on the nature of the illness and how valuable you are to the Navy. You would have to sign paperwork allowing the Navy to pull your medical records from a prior civilian doctor. You may have already signed this paperwork as a condition of enlistment.

The Navy can not pull your civillian medical records without your consent. This would be a violation of the privacy act, as these records are confidential.
However, you really need to be honest with your provider to get the best care possible.
As far as the remifications, I am sure there are some...to the extent I don't know. Good luck!

Part of enlistment package was a background check. In that package for background check were forms conset to release information, one if for medical records. If they haven't already discovered it was previous illness yet, then just go to the doctor. Usually doctor will want some history on the problem and try to treat it.

I do not know myself, but if the condition is serious, anything could happen. There are several Military people on this site, I am sure they can give you expert advise on this situation. Good Luck.

wow, there's a pink flag approximately enlistment. If its a fraudulent enlistment, which ability you intentionally lined up, lied, falsified or ignored to checklist something, and the militia reveals out, your in large hardship. you will in all probability get a foul habit or dishonorable discharge. which will stick to you something of your existence. some human beings get away with it and a few do not. enable me propose which you prepare for a waver to enlistment if its a scientific undertaking. If its something which will shop you out of wrestle, you would be denied enlistment. Like diabetic or on drugs which you will become separated from or unable to fill up, those are areas which will shop you out of the militia working example. If its drug appropriate, or dependency of substance, or regardless of, its risky attempting to cover that up. maximum any wellness care provider would assist you in entering into the militia under scientific wavers. if your worried approximately you scientific records starting to be attainable to a militia study, i think of you're able to stay out of the militia. i think of your to be respected for wanting to bypass into the militia, yet what's the factor of stepping into under fake pretenses with an stronger than commonly used risk of having caught and messing up something of your existence.

if the military doesnt already have your civilian records prior to your service then they arent going to get them unless you open your mouth. i wouldnt worry about it... just as long as you dont say anything you should be fine. but if you do decide to open your mouth.... you could get sent to prison. so just keep quiet.... blame it on the military.... training and all that stuff.... i have talked to several people who have been in your shoes and they ended up just fine and when they got out they blamed their injuries on the military and got the VA to pay them for it
