I have no idea what the point of this question is but in any case I am oddly drawn to it. I am either really tired this morning or there isn't a truely correct answer, how can there be.
So I will not over think it but I'll put a different spin on it.
I think the first scientist had house #1 built. Scientist two had the #2 house built. And scientist three had the #3 house built.
But I think that the one who actually built the houses was the same carpenter.
So to make my sleepy morning answer more clear;
All three scientists had a role in the houses being built, the same carpenter made them, and the 4th scientist (although having nothing to do with each house) was correct in saying the same carpenter built each house. But the 3 scientists are correct too because they built each of the houses on the same lot years apart. He He! How's that for confusing?

Why would the 4th scientist conclude that? Where all the buildings a similar style? Was there a cutting technique that seemed to be unique to these 3 buildings?
And did the other three scientists not nottice that the dog-house was too small for a human to live in?
What kind of scientists are these?!?
Oh, I know....Creationsit "Scientists"!!!
They don't understand the purpose of evidence....

none. not enough information.
what natural rules do science guys use? i've never heard of inanimate buildings spontaneously being created in this world. on the other hand dogs come in all different sizes and scientists just announced cracking the genetic code that controls dog sizes
as to 4th, does he know enough carpentry to be qualified to make his claim? did he observe the supposed carpenter? did the carpenter leave any evidence that he was there?
this seems some scifi world

Since houses can't reproduce, they are not an apt analogy to the development of species per the theory of evolution.
According to the evidence you've provided here, I'd conclude that all 4 scientists were morons and go buy myself an ice cream.

I find this hilarious because people have in fact built larger and larger houses over time, and no, they were not made by the same carpenter.
