I'm thinking about trying anchovies on my pizza tonight, but, I'm unsure of what toppings taste good and what doesnt with it. I've never actually had anchovies before. I've heard they're salty, are they anything like sardines? i really love sardines(and all things fish), so, maybe ill like anchovies.

I say avoid anchovies and pineapple. Anchovies can be really salty and fishy tasting. I don't dig that sweet and salty, fishy taste combo.
Good stuff with anchovies - onions, mushrooms, sausage, olives, fresh basil... but all of the savory toppings go well with anchiovies.

Anchovies had a salty flavor to any pizza with any toppings but go slow and ask for maybe 1/4 of the pizza with anchovies to sample and to see if you like them or not. Sardines are less salty and much more fishy than anchovies

Yea, I actually have a caravan and put in 91 large pizzas with seats down to a child's birthday party. (Yes, we had a huge party!) Anyways, only thing that sucks is the smell afterwards. I hope you like the smell of pizza!

In many countries anchovies are common in pizza. Tuna as well. I love tuna pizza.
