Yes, but there are other voices in your head that are not from God. It's like having an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. Sometimes when I want to pickup my Bible and read, all these thoughts start coming into my head about other things that I need to do first. That happens all the time.

You have three voices coming at you all the time
1 your own voice
2 the voice of God
3 the voice of Satan
You need to know the word of God in order to decipher which one is which

We are led (directly) by one of three things:
God
Satan
Our own thoughts and imaginings (which are influenced, directly or indirectly - by one of the other two)
The thing is, God gave us a conscience, to be able to discern between right and wrong. However, the pattern of our choices will mold and shape the conscience - either defiling it, or purifying it. A pure conscience is dependable; a defiled conscience is not. This is why the only safe and sure way to know whether you are doing right or not, is to ask the Holy Spirit's guidance and look to the Word of God.

If you are close to God/truley want to be and stay a child of God then more than likely at least 90%of the time it is him and not your own mind. I know from personal experience if you would like to know about it then feel free to ask and I will tell gladly.

The voice in your head is your conscience, or basically - you talking inside your head.
God speaks through us with instinct and heart.

No, it is ourselves, and our random thoughts that we portray. The voice of god, more or less is in our hearts and the spirit that we feel
