There is a difference between letting people be gay and giving them economical benefits, and the government officially endorsing it.

Christians know this is not the way a family structure is made up.
Family needs a father and mother.I was raised without a Father.Trust me every home needs one.I teach children who have no mother, trust me they need one.
A man and a woman are balance. Many homes are missing one or the other, these homes suffer.
Gays may have been around forever, but it is still a sin.
Lust and love are two very different things.
If a christians said its ok to be gay, they call God a liar.<><

I haven't really ever thought that gays were a threat to families. Gays don't effect my family at all. I personally don't believe that Homosexuality is the way to live, but Its not for me to judge. I don't care what people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms. I sleep every night w/my husband and don't feel like I have to announce it to everyone, that's the only thing I don't understand about "gays" why do they have to let everyone know that they are gay. and to the person who said gays should have been predicted by God. Please read the bible before you make statements about it. homosexuality was discussed in the bible.

I am a Christian and I don't regard gays as a threat to the Family. What I regard as a threat to the Family is the moral decay around us where people can have sex without consequence (if you don't like the consequence, you can get an abortion or take medication for an STD), the divorce rate is extremely high (I myself have added to that percentage), families are overbooked and overscheduled and there is little time to spend with one another, many people would rather cohabitate than make a legal commitment to one another, and finally, disrespect towards one's parents/guardians is more rampant today than it ever was. These are what I consider to be threats to the Family - gay people are not a threat any more than straight people are. It is decaying values in our society that is the greatest threat to the Family.

It's easy for people to point the finger at others; judge them even. Hmmm. I believe the Christian God is essentially Love. Why hate? Hate brings out the devil in us all. We are all different from each other but one with God. We have different talents, math, music, art, literature, service skills, etc. Unless we are all the polymath personality perhaps being kinder to yourself and others is being centered in Love. Perhaps it's old fear that we didn't have enough people walking around. Well, it's different now, too many in some places. Let's all chill out. Relax and appreciate what has been given to us.

i replace into baptized catholic and all of us understand the sham and humiliation they have suffered some deservidly. And why perform a little of my flag waving "born back Christians" pass to war and have faith its perfect basically as a results of fact somebody advised them it replace into.Or have faith in wearing a hid weapon. i don't understand this. even if I do have faith that God did no longer create any errors. that's unhappy maximum of folk will decide others yet no longer take an excellent seem at themselves. an exceedingly Christian philosophy

First, Christians don't believe that overpopulation is a problem. Just recently, the Pope asked his people in Europe to have more babies( he fears the China and India POWA'). Secondly, sex for fun or pleassure is bad. Thridly, gays have sex only for pleassure or fun and not for reproduction purposes, which is the reason why God gave man penises and scrotum and women their vaginas and baby making machinery. Yet, they say that God loves all equally, but it's more like communism in that some humans are just more equal than others SINCE THOSE OTHERS are sinners that are going to HELL!!!!
"gAYISM" has ALWAYS, ALWAYS BEEN AROUND.and you can't hate the sin without hating the sinner; is like if kill lots of people(hypothetically), but not hating me for being a killer but because I killed.

If you generalize frequently - don't generalize here. I see nothing wrong with an individuals sexual preference, even if it isn't the same as mine. I have understood that most of my religious peers feel that being gay is all right - as long as you don't act on it. Hate the sin but love the sinner and all that bull. I feel that we are made the way that we are supposed to be. Gay people aren't a threat to family, and those who say they are are simply ridiculous and ignorant. It seems that their major argument is that they will also raise gay kids. That is false, and it is not prooven. We are the way the Creator made us with His love. God Bless.

It's not just Christians who oppose gay sexuality. There are many of us who are against it because.. Two men or two women can't make a baby. Sure, they can adopt - but the future of our kind or race is threatened.
Family is of two parents (male, female) who can reproduce and raise their young in hopes of having grandchildren and a future for their family lineage.

They're obsessed with homosexuality. For some reason, they've become fixated on it. There ARE more important things to worry about, (starvation, the genocide in Darfur, homelessness) but these things have fallen FAR away in importance in their minds. They're barely afterthoughts.
