Referring to when Jesus said, "Drink of this fruit of the vine, this is my blood that is shed for the remission of sins for many. Eat of this bread. This is my body that is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.".

They are concerned about blood transfusions associated with the OT command to not drink blood.

So, if they do, how do they take Communion?

they do not. What many people are not aware of is that both the Mormon Church and the Jehovah Witnesses were started by 33rd degree Masons. This says alot if you know what I mean.

The expression "communion" simply means "shared". Jehovah's Witnesses do consider their observance of the "Last Supper" to be a communion meal in which Christians and their associates share.

The bible teaches that those with a heavenly hope should eat and drink the bread and wine. These emblems are not literally transubstantiated but merely represent Christ's "blood" and "flesh".

The wine was to represent his blood. There is no contradiction. We abstain from blood, not wine.

Only those of the 144,000 annointed ones actually partake of the emblems at the annual Memorial of Jesus' death. Those who have the Earthly hope, like myself, attend as respectful observers.

Jehovah's witnesses do have a memorial of Jesus Death every year on Nisan 14.

They pass it around once a year but no one eats or drinks because they don't think they are going to heaven...only 144,000 dead people are....according to them
