It gets very frustrating when people constantly bring down muslims for not speaking out against terrorisms and claim that muslims support terrorism!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many of us have tried to speak out, have contacted news channels, newspapers etc asking them to speak in the name of peace.

However, muslims promoting peace DOESNT SELL PAPERS!!! IT DOESNT INCREASE RATINGS!! so they are simply not interested.

It funny how the world works
the MINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORITY of (MISGUIDED) muslims speak out in the name of voilence.
the MAJORITY of (TRUE) muslims speak out in the name of peace.
yet the voice of the minority is heard and propaganda isnt interested in the majority.

ISLAM = PEACE

Well, you can always go live in Saudi or Syria since you love your Islam so much and can't stand to see women without hijabs and wearing thongs in the summer. None of that going on there. You can sweat in a chador all day and be a good little liberated Muslima.

What more can you do?
For starters you could denounce those imams who use the mosque for spreading hateful messages and dissent.
The Australian Muslims denounced the mufti of Australia for condemning the clothing worn by secular Australian women and likening them to uncovered meat. This was interpreted as: it is ok to rape a woman who does not veil herself.
Thank God this pronouncement met with universal condemnation including by Muslim community leaders.
The same muft is accused of handing over money to certain terrorist organisations in Iran with damning evidence against him.
He also found it necessary to travel to Egypt and say Australians have less right to live in Australia because they were transported there as convicts whereas Muslims got there by paying their own way.
In the interests of peaceful co-existence the man is an embarassment to Australian Muslims.
There are at least 5 more who preach inflaming sermons against the rest of Australia.
Now tell me what is the necessity of insulting the rest of us?

Writing to newspapers won't stop terrorists. I rather doubt they care what you say. To stop terrorists, don't give them shelter. Don't give them food. Turn them in. Stop the civil war between different factions of Islam. Start working together to form a true government that is fair to everyone, not just those who believe the same as you.
Proclaiming Islam as a religion of peace won't make it so. Writing to newspapers and asking them to say that won't make it so. Rooting out and destroying terrorists bent on hurting innocent people in the name of your religion will.
Obviously, there are muslims in Iraq that are working with the terrorists, otherwise we wouldn't be hearing about our soldiers being blown up on an almost daily basis. Those are the people who give your religion a bad name.
I know it is difficult for people in America to truly affect what is happening in Iraq. But pretending that it isn't happening isn't going to help. If you want to start a letter campaign, start one encouraging Iraqis to stop aiding terrorists and start working to make their country a better place. That is something thta will make a difference.

Thank you for speaking out loud and clear. Now you need a little more than a half a billion. Keep up the good work and you may be able to convince the other half billion. This is to suggest a plan not to discourage. Preach FORGIVENESS AND REASONABLE COMPROMISE

The Qurqn speaks specifically of all who refuse to believe in Allah must be killed. And what about those that convert to Christianity, are they free to do so, or is their life in danger of death as the last convert was? The Quran states that it was Ishmail and not Isiac that was first in line for inheritance. This is where a great rift came into being between the seed of Isiac and the seed of Ishmail. This war has continued for over 6,000 years and will be completed at the Battle of Armageddon. Page 2. On Enemies. The Quran is very decisive on enemies, the pages contradict themselves. Enemies are labeled as those who are unbelievers of Allah and the Quran. 1. Fussilat41:44. The Qyran states that the Books are to be in Arabic only and that only an Arab can understand its meaning. Again the books contradict itself, for the copy of the Quran I have is written in English. 2. Al-Anfal 8:67. Here is states that there will be no prisoners of war until the land is conquered. Most of the Quran speaks of hateing enemies and killing them because of their unbelief in the Quran and Allah. 3. Al-Isra,17. This Book is very different in wording and meaning. The word, “we", is used very often showing that it is man that was in charge of the threats and punishment of the Children of Israel and of unbelievers.

Hi there. I'm not a muslim, but I do respect and love muslims. We don't all believe the trash they show on TV, so don't be too upset by the rubbish they give. They seem to do the same kind of thing to every religion...

I like you. Thank you for not turning a religion into a political statement. You are a good person. And good luck. Keep speaking out!

Funny, I have never seen a letter to the editor of a newspaper on this subject. If they're well written they nearly always get published.

I really do not believe that you truly understand the basic tenants of your religion. The basic tenants of your religion are those of hate, and warfare. Go read the Quran, thoroughly, you might find somethings that you just never knew before.
So far as what to do, perhaps aiding those who seek those who are causing the problems. As a Christian, I would not hesitate to identify anyone who is breaking the law of the land, even if they felt that what they were doing was "Biblical". Perhaps those like yourself of the religion of Islam need to be involved in identifying, and helping to capture those who are being sought by secular authority. That would go a long way in showing, instead of just telling, the rest of us that you truly are interested in peace.
