Never crossed the limit to COMMIT anything that could be termed as Fornication/Adultery and yes, there is NOTHING obnoxious or kinky going on. But all they've ever shared is a genuine, pure love for each other in their heart - that has remained ONLY & upto the heart. So is it a sin ? Because I know Bible says Love is the greatest so definitely to Love is not a sin but to cross the limit & commit something is.

Some ppl here has confused Love & Lust - there is however a Huge difference. A Lust is ONLY lust and there is no love present there. And when Jesus was giving the sermon he was talking about Lust and NOT Love.

.........
Well, According to my understanding of Bible that surpasses many years, I would say NO - to Love is NOT a sin. Love is love & it is the greatest. To lust without love is a sin cause it's shallow & that's what Jesus was talking about on the mountain.

And yes as long as your Consciense is clear & your conducts are JUSTIFIED before GOD who is the SOURCE of all love, the age, race, creed or marital status are of not much relevance.

And yes, some of us here are a bit too focused on sin But due to the SUPREME nature of love Bible also says: "Love covers a multitude of sins" (1Pe 4:8)

Sin.

Sin is a misinterpretation of choosing an action that generates negative effect for one's self and others. This isn't a judgement, an "obey or else" mandate. It's simply a wise word of caution.

If you speak lies, you are not being mindful, loving and compassionate to yourself and others. There is an effect to that cause. But the choice is always yours as is the misery that immediately generates from it.

Pure, unconditional love is the greatest love. Whether that is with someone you have labeled "sacred" or "forbidden". In the arms of love, there are no labels, no rings, no promises.

Your mission in this life is to love. And to love wholey, with all your unconditional energy and compassion. And when you have reached all the ways you have taught yourself to love, you create more wonderful and vast ways. Constantly expanding, constantly growing.

Sex is not love. Yet, we often give much greater emphasis to it because it creates strong binding attachments to sensations and emotions rather than true connections to the purity of one's self and others.

Marriage is not a marriage if it is based off of lower expressions and reactions of so-called love. It is a comfort zone to remain in the illusion because the perception is that going outside that illusion is hard work or just plain frightening.

Marriage is a true connection whether a ring is involved or not.

Love is not a promise, love is love.
Love does not speak lies. Be loving and honest to all.

well u have answered ur own questions. "Because I know Bible says Love is the greatest so definitely to Love is not a sin but to cross the limit & commit something is."

but if those 2 people are continually loving each other...and they want to be together...but they already have a boyfriend/girlfriend or are already married...they are telling their significant other that they still love them....when really in their heart they dont. so it is lieing. they are leading their other half in the wrong direction.

if those 2 people have thoughts about eachother...like inappropiate thoughts..or maybe thoughts of kissing eachother...anything like that...they have commited adultery in their hearts.

Jesus talked about that in the Sermon of the Mount. He said that looking at someone with lustful desires was just the same as acting out those desires. While you may have never given your bodies to each, you have given part of your heart, mind, and love to each other. If you are married to someone else, then giving any part of your heart to another is wrong. The heart, just has much as the body, belongs exclusively to your spouse. To give it to another is adultery.

the bible says not to touch a women and if you lust after a woman, it is adultery already. and a woman doesnt need to be naked to have lust.
Love is a great virture and is not limited to husband and wife relationships. it is only a sin if you transgress the prohibitions of sexual contact and lust

The couple can Love each other, but they can not have sex outside of marriage. God does not like that, He created it inside of marriage. Touching and cuddling and kissing is also kind of crossing the line too.

Sex without the sanctity of marriage is a sin. That sin would be adultery/fornication

To love is fine. If you have sex, prior to marriage, which is wrong, you have 30 days to make them your mate and not have the sin against you.

Love Thy Brother....can't get any more simple than that.
