God has a plan for all of us.. but is it possible that his plan doesn't follow through, and something else happens?

lets say that I want to be a doctor, but God originally planned for me to be a lawyer.. Is it possible with hard work, and determination that I will be a doctor?

I don't even know where to begin with you two... you look cute but sarcastic; as if you were the "belly button of the world!" LOL!!! no lack of self-esteem I gather!!! That's a good thing.
Whether you become whatever it is that you want to become, it's entirely up to you... God has no objection as to your choice of career, since it obviously won't be what He'd prefer you to be a follower and disciple of Christ, his son but that is probably unlikely so the next option for you is to put that free will he grants us all with into action and may the best man win... Time will tell as He won't even interfere until it's over... He will let us all enjoy the products of his creation, the sun will shine on all of our heads, it will rain for all farmers, etc., and the only thing we could keep in mind is that it truly is the end result of everything that counts.
Nothing good that we do will ever be in vain! and will serve a purpose in the scheme of time...

Perhaps God's plan was that you be a doctor. Maybe you needed some legal background to face or assist in some sort of dilemna where that information would be needed. Sometimes His plan is one that we don't get. Sometimes we keep excelling and believe it is His will. Then everything falls apart and we dont get it at all. Then one day in all of our pain something happens that we wouldnt have been a part of unless we had gone through the good and the bad. And only then does the hard part make sense. And His plan becomes clearer. So perhaps His plan is that you become a doctor. Or maybe that you meet someone in med school that needs your intervention somehow and that is the only place your lives would have crossed. Fascinating huh???? %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Truely God's plan is that we all are Christians and believe in Him. Which is why the best answer to who you are/what do you do is "I am a Christian, cleverly disguised as a doctor or lawyer or bakerman". Because being a doctor or a lawyer or whatever is what you do, not who you are. Make sense? I'm still working on all this myself.

You don't have the power against God, but you do have the free will. God wanted Hitler to be a lamb, but he became a wolf. Also, God has a plan mainly for your soul (spiritual life). He doesn't care if you become a doctor or lawyer. It's your own choice. He wants you to have the free will, cuzz He loves you.

The verb "deter" means "prevent someone from doing something" by posing a threat in response. By definition, that cannot be done versus God.

You are raising an interesting question, because it investigates the breath of management, i.e. does he also want you to be a certain type of lawyer/doctor, does he have a specific teaching institution for you, and micromanagement, are your feelings and thoughts in response to this, also preplanned....?

The underlying question is whether God controls all (not whether He can, but whether He does) or does He just let the cards play out on their own.

Because of how fu*ked up things tend to wind up, I am inclined to think the latter.

Either way it doesn't matter. I live my life how I want, and if God is making me do so, that's fine and if He's not, that's okay, too.
Maybe God's plan is whatever you choose, or what you think you choose. I will live my life like it is my choice.

I don't believe in predestination, because I think if God chose who went to hell istead of just writing the laws, He would damn no one.

even notwithstanding humanity as an entire has no longer the "eyes to make certain" yet, we are the creators of the following day. and characteristic consistently been. What count number is to to "understand" what the following day brings when we are the makers of what's to be presented? Predictions are in basic terms desires and needs expressed. it really is been suggested that any prediction has a 50/50 probability of coming real. i stumble upon no irony in this because it speaks truth. What guy could start up is to quit the fascination with what isn't and develop into one with what's. we stay all our lives contained in the NOW. there is not any such project because the following day and the day previous to that's in elementary words a memory, a dream remembered vividly... until eventually it really is forgotten. advantages

Yes, because He has given us freedom of choice. It is wise and right, to follow His plan - because God only wants our happiness, health, safety, and harmony. But if you choose - though it would be unwise - while He will do what He can to persuade you/get you to understand - He will allow you to do your own thing. His plan, however - undeterred by us - will always come to pass. He has promised. :)

The thing is, we are shortsighted, and do not have the whole picture. We are stiff-necked and willful children. His thoughts and ways are not our own, and He knows ALL things. Because of this, and our comparative, severe lack - what He says do, may not make sense to us, until the longrun. That is why we must learn to trust Him, in the first place. I hope this helps, baby.

There is no plan. The scary part is that God knows who you are but he cannot control what you would do.

His plan is for you to trust him in moral issues and for you to come to accurate knowledge about him by studying his word the bible. You can do this on your own or b finding someone to help you. Jehovahs Witnesses come to your house for free to give you a bible study. You can use your own bible if you want. All the bibles are the same.

Although God is all knowing, he cannot control what you will do, he gave us free will. He knows our hearts, he knows our weaknesses but he left the choices up to us.

God's plan was not for one of his angles to become evil (Satan) or for adam and eve to rebel against him.

You are totally free to sin against God or to love him and do what he tells you which is always good for you. God gives the best advice and if we follow him things will go good for us.

Anyway, we must trust Jehovah our God if we want his plan, If you don't want his plan then do whatever pleases you, but then you will be left on your own in this cold and evil world full of pain and sorrow.

"Man plans and God plan, but God is the Best of Planners." His plan is always timely and true unless He deters it, and only He can deter it. So you will only become what God has planned for you to become be it president or pimp. But He will explain why this and why that on the day that we come before His Judgment seat.

From what i understand, God, has made several plans for each of us.
on the ground floor, we cannot possibly change anything at all, but if we are made Free, we can elevate ourselves into the next levels.
and dont think that anyone is Free in this mortality, everyone is a slave or a servant to someone.
