Because the US has an agenda. It's like a domino effect, look at what they did to the natives, Africans, Irish, etc. So it's only right, that the savages continue their genocidal ways and try to justify it in their twisted minds, as fighting for "freedom". Look at Abu Ghraib, how can you justify behavior like that? It's disgusting. We would rather go into a country under false pretenses, then go into a country i.e South Korea that's known to have nuclear weapons. The point is, the US thinks they own the world. They brainwash the American people through public schools and media. People please wake up!!! If you still think 9/11 was caused by an act of terrorism, you're a total idiot. Look at the facts and past wars.

The USA as a whole does not persecute Muslims although there are some racist people out there. The main reason they do not like Muslims is it goes against their beliefs and those people just cannot deal with it. I think the world has a problem with racisism not just USA. Old Muslims use to worship a evil man that would kill people. If you did not believe their faith they would kill you. The Muslims that flew the airplanes into the two towers were also doing it for there God. Most Muslims though expecially in USA do not practice the teaching of the founder of the religion. Sorry if you have been persecuted in any way, hope you see USA as a free country not a persecuting country.

The wars are wrong and they (Americans and the Israeli political right) need to support a middle-ground solution for Palestine and Israel. As for persecution, I don't think that screening a group of people who are the only group of people mainly responsible for anti-Semitism and militancy, that it's wrong in terms of visas, guest worker programs and immigration policy, no. That it's wrong to focus screening, investigations and fingerprinting analysis on this group? That it's wrong to worry about only certain people at airports? No, that is not persecution. It may not be politically correct, but it isn't persecution. Pointless to profile Japanese, Thai, East Indian, Swedish and Australian tourists.

Maybe because you and your kindred follow a twisted book of hate that leaves wide open room to breed terroristic sects and thinking? Your kindred threaten the free world with such cowardice because it's scared when the rest of us bust a Jetson and move on into the next golden age, your crusty played out 7th century toilet reading you call the Koran will be outdated and in a Natural History museum somewhere.

Because the US has done so in previous wars. Remember the Vietnamese War when the US took captive thousands of US Vietnamese citizens just because of their background.

How are muslims being persecuted? I haven't heard anything about this....I haven't heard of mosques in the US being burned, muslims dragged from their houses and killed, companies refusing wholesale to hire muslims....maybe you can give me some examples of the horrible things being done here so I know?

A Muslim was sitting in a jail cell, when the jailers opened the door and threw in a black guy.
"How are you?" The Muslim asked.
"Not very good", the black man replied, "I don't think I got a fair trial."
To which the Muslim responded, "You got a trial?!"
