This happened a year ago in Montebello CA. Glad it still pisses people off.
What did you expect from a title 1 school (free breakfast and lunch for the little darlings) in a SANCTUARY city, in a state where its two state Senators and our new Speaker of the House are from the ultra liberal Bay area (another sanctuary city)..Gratitude?

It's no act of war, but it sure is a classless act of stupidity and if these punks are the spawn of the kind of regular people I met during a couple of years living in Mexico, said parents no doubt legal immigrants, will "go upside their mushy heads" and save us the trouble. If their families are illegals, obviously the kids don't care if they all get packed up and deported on the "family plan," as they all be back and this time bring along their cousin Itt. I find this far more offensive than burning a flag as this disrespectful display has lasted long enough to hit the internet and they should be caught and caned and I'll bet we could get a Singapore patriot over here to whale the tar out of them since we don't have the guts to DIY these little scumbuckets.

Nothing should be displayed above the American flag (while in the u.s. or on board a u.s. based vehicle i.e.. boat/plane) If said people are so upset with America why don't they go back home ? Instead they disrespect the country THEY have chosen to come to. I don't know, I don't get it.

0 tolerance whilst it includes the american flag! After removing the Mexican flag and returning the american flag returned to its appropriate place, perhaps we could continually run them up the comparable flag pole the different way up so everybody else can see after which ask them in the event that they think of this is humorous?! perhaps after a pair of weeks, in the event that they might desire to proceed to exist the ordeal devoid of patriot popping a cap of their butt, they might desire to be prosecuted, serve detention center time and easily inspite of each thing that, necessary deportation. in the event that they the two naturalized voters or here on a eco-friendly card, (the two a sort of comprise fantastically uncertain), the would desire to be deported and band type returning.

It is disrespectful to say the least, makes me wonder how many are getting a education legally, how many can speak English. How much of the tax payers dollars are you abusing by this sort of conduct?

If you want a education in this Country the least you can do is have some respect for our flag, our laws and the American Society.

Hanging the American Flag upside down is a signal of DISTRESS.

If you are in such distress then go back to where ever you came from for comfort.

You have no respect for the Flag that many Americans fought and died for and at the same time demand "RIGHTS" that those exact same people made the supreme sacrifice for.

FLETCH.

First off, the interpretation of our Constitution in which courts have said simply being born on American soil makes you an instant citizen must be changed. This is clearly not what our Founding Fathers intended.

If you are in this country, legally or illegally, and are a citizen of another country, simply giving birth to your child on American soil should not make the child a U.S. citizen. Citizenship should only be granted to people through our citizenship process.

Secondly, and to the point of your question, these children should be suspended. When the children return to school they should be enrolled in a U.S. history class for the remainder of their high school years and assigned special pro-American assignments. Maybe a little real education about this great country is what they need in order to appreciate why they have so much freedom.

These children are ignorant and chances are their parents are not making them assimilate into the American culture because the parents are not assimilating either.

This is happening all over the United States and is a serious and dangerous problem for our nation.

Wait... should I be surprised that they hate the US? The US hate them and how were they supposed to feel? Correct me if I'm wrong, those "Mexicans" were actually born in the US, still you call them Mexicans... and the fact that US citizens from Mexican ancestry, do not feel yankees, and have waved a Mexican flag... is it an act of war? Act of war against the humanity, is what the US does with its disgusting racism.

The government will do nothing even thou they should have been deported immediately. From some of the responses you can tell what they think of this country and us. Whether anyone wants to hear it or not it is just a matter of time before regular folks decide enough is enough and deal with it themselves. Which will be the only way this problem will be solved for 2 reasons.
1. Republicans want them for the cheap labor
2. Democrats want them here for the votes

Sad but true, so unless the people of this country do something nothing will be done. Politicians are useless.

I think that if we did that in their country we would be facing prosecution for violating their laws on displaying the flag. However, we have freedom of speech in the USA and if it's done in protest then we need to defend their right to do so. I also feel though, that if they do not like it here they can participate in the democratic process to redress their issues. If they are not legal to vote - then go home - to Mexico that is.

All this talk of illegal immigration and the protests going on.......blah. I have one thing to say, this country has laws, if you choose to abide by them you can be a citizen and lead a healthy happy life here. May take you awhile, may take some effort and money, but it is not impossible. If you choose to not abide by the laws then you have no voice, and that includes protesting. You look stupid being an illegal immigrant protesting that the country you snuck into will not do something for you. And maybe mix in an American flag when you protest, at least it will make us feel you are somewhat grateful for gettings something from a country who owes you nothing....

I think it is a great display of appreciation for using state taxes for their (wasted) education, and further demonstrates why they should be deported. I hope they protest in more disrespectful ways, alienating the country more to their cause. They really know how to cultivate hostility towards their "peaceful" invasion, and the more buttons they push the better.

I am looking forward to war.
