I haven't tried this, but it might be possible if you link the two files.

Why do you have the information in two files if it is related? Surely you are not exceeding the number of columns allowed in a worksheet. How would you feel about combining the information?

Information here on merging.

I have a large file at work with all sorts of information included. You can create any number of different reports easily. Are you familiar with catalogs? With the MM helper:

Tools
Mailmerge
Create
Catalog
Get Data
name the data file
active sheet

in the blank document I like to create a table of x number of columns, one row. In the cells, you click on the "insert field" button and click on the field. Continue across the table, then merge. It's great. It is reuseable, Just remerge.

in case you have certainly left sparkling cells on your spreadsheet, then once you do the mailmerge it shouldnt placed something in or pass away empty strains, so i'm questioning if in certainty you have placed zeros interior the column of abode names. I do numerous mailmerges utilising 2007 and characteristic basically tried to replica your problem (have never used abode names previously) and left numerous sparkling fields yet whilst merging each thing is sweet. once you insert your merge fields, are you clicking on the handle Block (which may be a difficulty) or are you doing it field by skill of field by skill of clicking on the Insert Merge field icon, which consistently works extra powerful. different than that i'm afraid i don't understand the respond on your problem.
