Get her a cute miniskirt! Then she can wear it for you on a really hot date! =<)

Get a large bag and fill it full of change. At the bottom of the bag give her a nice gift certificate to a nice store so she can get what she wants. Or maybe 2 gift cards one from a nice store for clothing and one from a jewelry store. She will be very happy. That is the safest gift since I don't know how old you are.

I am going to assume that you are like I was when I was 17, and very little money, here is what I did. If it something relatively inexpensive, try to save up for a CD or DVD that is her favorite, if you cannot afford it by yourself, pay what you can, and ask your parents for the difference, and work if off. Take her on a special day out, a burger or whatever, a walk, and maybe a movie. If nothing else, make her something: a jewelry box, a special card. It worked for me!! Good luck

Well, that depends... how long have you been dating? I'm 17, and personally anything sparkly and pretty works, typically jewelry, but I've been dating my bf for three years now. Best birthday ever... he cooked dinner at his house, complete with a semi-homemade cake, and then hid a necklace and matching earrings in its box inside the bread basket. And I got a mix cd. But... if you haven't date very long, like less than a year, don't go all out, take her shopping or something fun like that.

The love doesn't have to come directly from the gift. Her birthday itself is the special thing. I might reccoment a necklace ( not to expensive) and then take her out. A movie, then a dinner at a nice restarueant.

get her something maybe you would like to get. I thinks it would be a great idea to get her an ipod, a gift card to the mall, jewelry never goes wrong, a cute purse would also be nice. Try a nice perfume.

yeah, a gift card is your best bet but at the same time, it can seem kinda inpersonal. why don't you buy her fave CD or a nice piece of jewelry? or if you are a little more serious...perhaps a promise ring?

best of luck.

get her something sweet and romantic. she'll love that more than anything brand name. a single rolse and making her favorite food from scratch, or renting her favorite movie (no matter how corny) and buying all of her favorite candies and snacks. tell her you love her more than ever and you are so happy she was born. something from your heart is so much better than anything from a store.
