I will be getting the Kicker DS6930, 4 of them .....match it up with the zx350.4 kicker amp. I friend of mines told me a crossover will help alot, to seperate the bass from my 6x9's, since i will be having both 15" L7 doing all the bass...my question, do i need a 2 way crossover, or a 3 way cross over, and whats the difference?

You don't need either type of crossover, because your Kicker amplifier already has a perfectly good crossover built into it.

If you were using separate components, like a separate midrange and tweeter; and you were using two different amps to run the different speaker types, then you might use an external crossover to split the frequency range between your different amps. But in your planned setup the built-in crossover will work fine just to cut the subwoofer-level bass out of the 6x9's.

he's right but if there is still too much bass for them at high volumes, bass blockers would work nicely
