They are good for you. Between the citric acid and the vitamins, they're like eating oranges. Only more tart. Lots of vitamin C in them.

since lemons do have the vitamin C then its good for the immune system. I heard that the cirtrus acid in limes and lemons can keep your head from pounding stressful headaches.

Definitely YES! My Grandparents included Lemon in their diet in many ways and they both lived over 100.....
Personally, I cook meat with the juice of a lemon (combined with olive oil & garlic)
I add it to iced water for a refreshing drink in summer.

Lemon zest is used in heaps of recipes and as a decoration too.

Full of vitamins and nutrients ~ You cannot go wrong eating lemons in some form! :)

Losta vitamin C, true. But the acids are even more important. They can remove toxins from the body...
In fact, a special diet of mostly lemons can actually cure diabetes.

Yes! And it's the EASIEST way to incorporate more vitamin C into your day..... a squeeze of it over your chicken, fish, or salad, or some in your water or iced tea or hot tea. You can put it in salad dressings. Use it often in the ways mentioned above and you can add more nutrition to your day and balance out your body's mucus production, as well (i.e. phlegm caused by dairy products and refined sugars).
