Every child develops at different rates. Some children don't start to walk until around their first birthday, other's start earlier, some start later. Some children don't begin speaking unitil they are two, some at a year old. My daughter was speaking full sentences before she reached age two and was walking on her own (no assistance from me or furniture) at 10 months.

Every child developes at it's own pass, does not mean anything for the years to come. MY son was 9 months right on the day that he started walking, I was so proud and shock, but I would not wish it on anyone. MY son also started talking one words at one year just a little more. They also say girls do things before boys, walk, talk, potty train ect, but like I said every child goes at there own pace

Most little ones start walking at about 10-14 months. As for talking most can babel by a year and increase to saying simple words the first year (juice, cookie, doggy, more, mom, dad, go, etc) by age two kids should be putting two word sentences together (more juice, me go, etc.).

and got into speech therapy at 2yrs.
