Sounds good to me-try dial up. My usual download speed is less than 5 kbs with a max connection speed of about 48 kbs and sometimes as low as 28kbs.

I have 10.0 MB connection but it is not the same classification as the the download you are referring to. I am sure you are talking about the download speed within the little box that shows up to start the download. I have sattlelite connection and receive about half your speed. I usually start out about 150kb then down to about 70 or 80. That is normal. I am very happy with sattelite as dial up is digustingly slow and being in the country I had only the equivalent to a 28 modem. Downloads started at about 10kb then went down to about 2 or 3kb.

what is your broadband speed? actually most of the connection will only catch up to 3/4 of the broadband speed, so considering yours is 512, 320kb/s is okay. but if its half then you gotta do something bout your computer setting maybe? use some kind of utilities like tune-up ( www.tune-up.com ) to empower your connection. that's all.
Have a nice day
